In its 15th year, Sonoma County Restaurant Week lasts through Sunday February 25 and is a great way to get out and support local restaurants who offer special prix-fixe menus and other offerings as a way to entice people to check them out.

The general idea is to have one prix fixe menu to choose from, with lunch options in the $10-$25 range and dinner $25-$55, with a sweet perk added in for $5. Reservations are highly recommended.

With more than 100 restaurants participating, it’s a great reason to try a place you’ve been thinking about, re-visit a favorite spot or both. Many of these local restaurants do a good job of highlighting Sonoma County wines, so that’s worth considering too. Supporting local restaurants supports local farmers and grapegrowers after all.
