The Guadagni Family
Guadagni Family Wines
The Guadagni family has been farming in Sonoma County since 1898, when the first generation planted prunes and wine grapes in the rich soils of Dry Creek Valley. For nearly a century, prunes thrived alongside their vineyards until the last trees were removed in 1992. Among their vineyards are two treasured blocks of old-vine Zinfandel, planted in the 1880s, which continue to produce fruit that reflects the valley’s history and character. Now in their fourth generation, the Guadagni family remains dedicated to preserving their agricultural heritage, farming 38 acres in the Dry Creek Valley, while carrying forward a legacy of farming that spans more than 125 years.
