Due to a Covid induced over supply of wine our regular customer Farrell Winery which labels our Chardonnay grapes as “Ultra Premium” is not making RRV Chardonnay this year. Therefore we have up to 35 tons of both clone 4 and clone 17R (Robert. Young) Chardonnay fruit available. Our vineyards are elevated up on the Russian River Plain and have a rich heritage as our river overflow soils once grew the fruit for Merry Edwards Winery and then was replanted on 110 rootstock by Cecil DeLoach to provide him with his medal winning Chardonnay fruit.
Presently as of 7/1, both clones are available. We are certified Sustainable and cared for by Bevill Vineyard Management. Visits welcomed and price dependent on quantities.
We also have both Dijon and Pommard clones of Pinot Noir available also affected by the Farrell cutback.
