We estimate we will have up to 8 tons of Dijon wine grapes available for sale this year. What one of our customers specify as “Ultra Premium” fruit, these Dijon clones include 115, 667, 777 and 828 on 3309 rootstock. Our Pinot Noir grapes, grown on the Russian River high-cool plateau, have produced gold medal winning wines year after year for several well-known wineries and this fruit is from those same vines. Planted by Dempel Farming Co. for Cecil DeLoach and his “Hartman Lane” label, this fruit has a great heritage producing multiple gold medal winning wines.
The 828 clone, with its dark color and astringency, is especially well suited as a blending grape.
