Day Two: Hands-On Winemaking & Vineyard Adventures
Start your morning with a wine country breakfast before heading to a Sonoma County winery for an insider’s tour of the crush pad, fermentation tanks, and cellar. Learn how grapes are transformed into exceptional wines while gaining a deeper understanding of the winemaking process.
Next, venture into the vineyard for a guided tour that explores the region’s diverse terroir, sustainable farming practices, and the seasonal work taking place during the harvest season.
In intimate groups, you’ll join local winegrowers on their ranches for an insider’s look at the grape-growing and farming operations behind your favorite wines. Day Three: Blending, Pairing & the Art of Farm to Table
On your final day, step into the role of winemaker during an interactive blending workshop, where you’ll craft your own custom red wine blend under the guidance of a winemaker.

What airport should I fly into?
San Francisco International Airport is the closest major international airport to Sonoma County. Alternatively, you may consider flying into Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport, a smaller regional airport conveniently located within Sonoma County.
What time should I arrive on the first day?
Grape Camp will begin with an evening welcome wine dinner. Guests are encouraged to arrive in Sonoma County during the morning or early afternoon on Sunday, October 4th to allow ample time for travel and check-in prior to the evening’s festivities.
What time does Grape Camp end on the final day?
Grape Camp programming will conclude on Tuesday, October 6th with a farewell dinner. Guests will stay that evening, with departures scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, October 7th at hotel check-out.
Is transportation provided from the airport?
Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Sonoma County and to the host hotel. Once onsite, Sonoma County Winegrowers will provide all transportation throughout the Grape Camp experience, there is no need to rent a vehicle.

Can I extend my stay before or after Grape Camp?
Yes, guests are welcome to extend their stay before or after Grape Camp to further enjoy Sonoma County during the harvest season. Once announced, we recommend contacting the host hotel directly to arrange additional nights.
Can I request a roommate or specific room type?
Yes. As we move closer to the event, guests will receive a detailed pre-arrival form to capture rooming preferences.

Some portions of the program, including winery tours and vineyard harvest experiences, may involve extended periods of walking or standing. We ensure a comfortable pace and include opportunities to rest throughout the day, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests.
Food & Dietary Needs
Are dietary restrictions or allergies accommodated?
Absolutely! Prior to your arrival in Sonoma County, we will collect any dietary restrictions or allergies for you and your guests to ensure that all meals are thoughtfully prepared to meet your needs.
Wine & Purchases
Will I be able to purchase wines during the trip?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to purchase wines directly from the wineries during Grape Camp.
Can wineries ship wine home for me?
Yes. Our team is happy to consolidate and ship all of your wine home in a single shipment from the hotel. Alternatively, you are welcome to arrange shipping directly through the wineries after making your purchases.
Are tastings included or extra?
All wine tastings and VIP winery experiences are fully included in the price of Grape Camp.

Payments & Policies
What is the cancellation or refund policy?
By registering for Grape Camp, participants acknowledge and agree to the following:
Non-Refundable Charges: All fees and charges associated with registration and participation in Grape Camp are non-refundable. Once payment is made, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to cancellation, no-show, or early departure from the camp. This policy applies regardless of the participant’s reason for cancellation or withdrawal from the program, and no exceptions will be made.
Assumption of Risk: Participation in Grape Camp involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, outdoor conditions, and potential exposure to injury, illness, or accidents. By registering for Grape Camp, participants expressly assume all risks, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, that may arise from their involvement in camp activities, travel to and from the camp, and any related events or programs.
Release of Liability: Participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Grape Camp, Sonoma County Winegrowers, its organizers, employees, agents, affiliates, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or injuries arising from participation in the camp, including those caused by negligence or other factors beyond the control of the organizers. This release extends to all risks, including those related to travel to and from the camp, participation in activities, and any injuries sustained while at the event.
Acknowledgment of Understanding: By completing registration and participating in Grape Camp, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms outlined in this clause. They further acknowledge that they are in good health and capable of safely engaging in all activities associated with the camp.
