The next Employee Development Workshop (EDP) in Spanish will be held on Saturday, December 7, at the Shone Farm Pavilion from 8:30am until 11:00am.
Practical Vineyard Pruning Practices will be presented by Alberto Zamora, Vineyard Manager at Domaine Carneros. Attendees will hear about the practical aspects behind pruning techniques for growing quality wine grapes.
Discussion includes pruning weights and buds per vine, equipment care and maintenance, and the CSWA Code of Sustainable Winegrowing chapter on crop-to-pruning rations, pruning for vine balance and vigor uniformity.
