2019 Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir

Edgemont Farms rests in an idyllic setting with a cool sea breeze on the northern edge of the Petaluma Gap. Temperatures are usually 10 degrees cooler than surrounding areas.  Head pruned, so it is a rare style that is heavily influenced by the wind, the Gap’s defining characteristic.  The farming practices are all natural and can be verified through the Sonoma County Ag. Commissioner. This is great opportunity for a unique wine. Small dense clusters with a larger tannin profile. It is a bit richer than typical Pinot Noir and would do wonderfully with a whole cluster fermentation and a gentle punch down or a pump over style of winemaking. Grapes are clean. 1 to 2 tons available. Please inquire about price and minimum.
