W.E Bottoms Vineyards LLC has 4 to 6 tons available of award winning, Estate Grown, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. This is a split of vineyard with equally divided clones of 114, 115, and 667 and 777″s all on 101-14 rootstock. Other portion of the vineyard is shared by Ram’s Gate Wines. Small 2.2 acre vineyard with 4 x 4 spacing, approximately 6000 vines and great N/S orientation has regularly produced quality fruit for 90 plus point wines and a double gold award since establishment of vineyard in 2001. Former winemakers include Foley Family Wines, Banshee and Tiny House Wines. Great location about 1/2 mile above the town of Occidental which receives perfect blend of morning fog and sunny afternoons that produce outstanding quality grapes. Other prize winning neighbors include Harmony Lane Vineyards and Charlie Heinz Wines. Vineyard manager, Arturo Robledo, has 13 plus years of experience with this vineyard.
Location: Located on Dupont Rd. below the intersection of Harrison Grade Road, approximately 600 feet above sea level and 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean.
Trellis System: Cain pruning with limited spurs, 4 x 4 spacing and vertical shoot positioning (VSP) trellis system.
