Oldest vines still in production were planted in 1973, newest in 1995. Old-style wide rows. Ripens late with mature brown stems and seeds. Small berries, loose clusters, low yield, terrific varietal character. Adjacent to the Laurel Glen property (once both were in common ownership). We farm this ourselves (Fred Berger still helps) mostly for our own production, but we have some tonnage available for the right buyer. Very low production last two years, and had no fruit available to sell, but looks like more this year. Still will be less than two tons/acre. I do the farming, myself & my crew.
