Soil Type: Vineyard planted on Haire Clay Loam, a moderately well drained clay loam with a 5’depth to bedrock, and volcanic ash from famed “Chalk Hill” located adjacent to the block. The rows are oriented to run east to west, with 6 x 8 spacing. Unique site, temperatures and microclimate due to one mile of Russian River frontage and creek that border site have consistently produced award-winning wines.
