Windsor Oaks 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon

Windsor Oaks Vineyard is a beautiful 710 acre property with varietal blocks grown on low fertility, rolling hillsides with major elevation changes among the blocks. We have sections on the ranch from 200 feet above sea level to blocks where elevation go up toward 1,000 ft. Most blocks are north-south facing on well-drained, stony cobbled clay or volcanic soils. Across the 210 acre vineyard, Windsor Oaks produces 18 different varietals. The entire property is included in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, and Chalk Hill AVAs. The fruit produced is suitable for ultra-premium, luxury, and higher valued wines. The Vineyard Team uses farm practices that meet the high standards of our grape Buyers and Winemaker.

Separate lots sold as a blend. Lot 17CS-FS. Clones 8, 15, 337. Years planted 1997 and 2000.

Color Good to Great, Fruity notes of dark cherry and blueberry with moderate to sweet, young tannins.
